Trump cancels Iowa rally over tornado threat as DeSantis courts voters

This weekend, Iowa was going to be the stage for two of the most prominent names in the Republican Party's presidential primary field, namely DeSantis and Trump.
Mr Trump announced on Saturday afternoon that his Des Moines rally had to be cancelled due to the possibility of a tornado, and he would arrange for another schedule in the near future.
Mr Trump, who was still in Palm Beach, Florida, at the time, vowed on Truth Social that he would soon reschedule the rally that had been cancelled.
