US home prices in March showed a continuing recovery with slight increases.

Second consecutive month of price increases after a seven-month decline.

National index increased by 0.4% after seasonal adjustment.

Both the 10-City and 20-City composites also saw increases, Before seasonal adjustment, the National Index rose by 1.3%.

March home prices were 0.7% higher than March 2022, 10-city composite dropped 0.8% YoY, while the 20-city composite fell 1.1%.

Miami, Tampa, and Charlotte had the highest YoY gains among the 20 cities, 19 out of 20 cities reported lower prices compared to a year ago.

Chicago was the only city with an increase at 0.4%.

Western cities (Seattle and San Francisco) had weaker prices, while the Southeast remained the strongest region.
